Thank you for considering the Budapest International Music Festival as your music performance tour in 2011. This festival promises to be an outstanding music education and performance event for both instrumental and choir ensembles.
Budapest International Music Festival July 2 - 6, 2011 Festival Artistic Director: Mr. Bert Aalders ENSEMBLES: Youth and Adult Orchestras, Wind Bands, and Choirs will be selected by audition. VENUES: The Budapest International Music Festival will utilize two main facilities in Budapest - the Palace of Arts (Bartok National Concert Hall) and the Aladár Rácz School of Music.
FACULTY: World Projects has worked with such acclaimed instrumental faculty as Mr. Stephen Williams (Australia), Dr. Dennis Johnson (USA), Mr. Glenn Price (Canada), Mr. Cao Peng (China), Mr. Geoffrey Brand (UK), Mr. Felix Hauswirth (Switzerland), Professor Mitsukazu Suwaki (Japan) and many more. Past choral faculty haveincluded Mr. Granville Oldham (USA), Mr. George Torbay (Australia), Mr. Weston Noble (USA) and many more. AWARDS: Based on the performance level as perceived by the adjudication panel, each group will receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award. There is no limit to the number of Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards. Each performing artist will receive a Certificate of Participation. Package Inclusions - Festival Directors’ Reception
